3. Installation & Operation Requirements

  • Hydraulic Fluid: Petroleum-based anti-wear hydraulic oil equivalent to ISO VG-32 or 46; recommended viscosity range is 20~400 mm²/s, temperature range is 0~60 ℃.
  • Contamination Control: Maintain oil contamination within NAS Grade 10; suction port requires a ≥100 μm (150 mesh) reservoir filter, return line requires a ≤10 μm line filter.
  • Mounting: The filling port should be positioned upwards; use a flexible coupling to avoid bending or thrust stress; maximum permissible shaft misalignment is less than 0.1 mm TIR, maximum misangular is less than 0.2°.
  • Suction Pressure: Permissible suction pressure at the inlet port is between -16.7 and +50 kPa; the height of the pump suction port should be within 1 meter from the oil level in the reservoir.
  • Drain Piping: Ensure the pressure within the pump housing is ≤0.1 MPa (normal) and ≤0.5 MPa (surge); recommended drain piping inside diameter is ≥16 mm.
