Danfoss axial piston pumps for concrete machinery

Danfoss offers several ranges of axial piston pumps for concrete machinery, most notably the H1P series, Series 90, and D1P series, which provide high power density, reliability, and advanced control options for both closed- and open-circuit systems. 

Closed-Circuit Pumps

These pumps are primarily used in the hydrostatic drives of concrete mixer trucks and the main pumping function of concrete pumps, where the flow direction needs to be reversed by changing the swashplate angle. 

• Danfoss H1P Series Axial Piston Pumps: The H1P series offers a wide range of displacements (45 cc to 280 cc) and high-pressure capabilities, with maximum working pressures up to 480 bar.
  • Features: They feature an integral electro-hydraulic servo system for precise control and high power density. They are fully compliant with the PLUS+1® electronic control standard, enabling seamless integration into advanced machine control systems. The robust design with few parts ensures durability in harsh conditions.
• Danfoss Series 90 Piston Pumps: A proven solution with a reputation for reliability, these pumps are widely used in concrete mixer applications.
  • Features: Available in displacements from 55 cc to 250 cc, they offer a high power density and a compact, lightweight design. They include an integral charge pump for system replenishing and cooling and offer various control options (mechanical, hydraulic, electric). 

Open-Circuit Pumps

Designed for the auxiliary functions of concrete machinery, these pumps handle high flow and pressure demands in open-circuit systems. 

• Danfoss D1P Series Open Circuit High Power Axial Piston Pumps: These pumps are built for extreme application environments in heavy-duty mobile machinery.
  • Features: With displacements up to 260 cc and continuous operating pressures of 350 bar, the D1P series meets high power and flow needs. They use angled piston bores for improved self-priming capability and can be integrated with Danfoss PVG high-flow valves for a complete system solution. They support electrified control systems (EDC, power control, load sensing).
• Vickers by Danfoss PVMX Series: These pumps are suitable for medium-duty open-circuit industrial and mobile applications.
  • Features: They deliver high efficiency and low noise levels (as low as 72 dB(A)) with a continuous operating pressure of up to 350 bar. They are designed for bidirectional flow, simplifying system architecture.
