5.1 Installation Requirements

  • When installing the pump, the filling port should be positioned upwards to ensure smooth oil filling and prevent air from entering the pump.
  • Use a flexible coupling for shaft connection to avoid bending or thrust stress. The maximum permissible misalignment is less than 0.1 mm TIR, and the maximum permissible misangularity is less than 0.2°.
  • The height of the pump suction port should be within 1 meter from the oil level in the reservoir. The suction port pipeline should use a pipe with the same diameter as the specified pipe flange.
  • The suction port must be equipped with at least a 100 µm (150 mesh) reservoir type filter, and the return line must be equipped with a line type filter of less than 10 µm to control oil contamination.

5.2 Maintenance Points

  • Regularly check the oil contamination degree and maintain it within NAS Grade 10 to avoid pump failure and shorten service life caused by oil contamination.
  • Replace the hydraulic oil regularly according to the working environment and operating time, and clean the filter to ensure the cleanliness of the hydraulic system.
  • Regularly inspect the tightness of the pump’s oil ports and connections to prevent oil leakage.
  • Do not modify the pump without authorization, as this may affect the performance and safety of the product. Any modification must be approved by Yuken official technical personnel.
