QT series gear pumps, developed by Sumitomo Precision Industry, are high-performance internal gear pumps renowned for their simple structure, reliable operation, and excellent comprehensive performance. They adopt special gear design and forced lubrication on sliding surfaces, which avoids direct contact between components, minimizes wear, and ensures long-term stable operation. The following is a detailed introduction to three typical models: QT61-200, QT61-250, and QT33-12.5.

1. QT61-200 Gear Pump

The QT61-200 is a high-pressure internal gear pump designed for medium and large-scale hydraulic systems, with the model number indicating its core specifications (displacement of approximately 200 ml/r). It belongs to the high-pressure series of QT pumps, featuring a rated pressure of 25 MPa and an instantaneous maximum pressure of 32 MPa, which enables it to cope with high-load working conditions effectively.
With forced lubrication technology, the pump achieves minimal component wear and strong durability, even in continuous high-intensity operation. It also has the advantages of low noise and low pulsation—its noise value remains almost unchanged even when pressure or speed increases, and the pulsation is as low as 0.2 MPa, ensuring stable fluid delivery. The QT61-200 is widely used in heavy machinery, mining equipment, and large-scale hydraulic transmission systems that require high pressure and large flow, providing stable and efficient power support.

2. QT61-250 Gear Pump

As a sibling model of the QT61-200, the QT61-250 shares the same high-pressure design concept and structural advantages, with a larger displacement of approximately 250 ml/r. It is specially optimized for hydraulic systems that demand large flow and high pressure, maintaining a rated pressure of 25 MPa and an instantaneous maximum pressure of 32 MPa, consistent with the high-pressure performance standards of the QT61 series.
The pump adopts a compact structural design, which not only reduces installation space but also improves the convenience of maintenance. Its internal gears are precision processed to ensure smooth meshing, low energy consumption, and high volumetric efficiency.
Similar to other QT series pumps, it has excellent noise reduction performance and can operate quietly even in high-speed and high-pressure environments. The QT61-250 is commonly applied in large-scale engineering machinery, metallurgical equipment, and hydraulic stations, adapting to the working requirements of high efficiency, stability, and long service life.

3. QT33-12.5 Gear Pump

Different from the high-pressure QT61 series, the QT33-12.5 gear pump with a displacement of 12.5 ml/r, suitable for small and medium-sized hydraulic systems that require precise control. It has a rated pressure of 14 MPa and an instantaneous maximum pressure of 16 MPa, with a matching power of 8.6 kW, and can deliver a stable flow of 7.3 L/min when matched with a 4P motor (1500 rpm) or 4.7 L/min with a 6P motor (1000 rpm).
The most prominent features of the QT33-12.5 are its ultra-low pulsation and low noise. The almost negligible pulsation (0.2 MPa) makes it ideal for systems requiring precise speed control, such as machine tools and experimental equipment.
Its simple structure and forced lubrication design ensure minimal wear of functional components and strong durability, while the compact size and light weight facilitate integration into small mechanical equipment.
In addition, it has good self-priming performance and low sensitivity to oil contamination, reducing maintenance costs. The QT33-12.5 is widely used in injection molding machines, forging machinery, elevators, precision machine tools, and other equipment that requires stable and precise hydraulic transmission.
