Parker gear pump PGP502 series has the characteristics of compact design, diverse displacement options, high performance and high reliability. The following are some key specifications of this series of gear pumps.:

  1. Basic specifications
    Model range: The PGP502 series contains a variety of models, such as PGP502A0008, PGP502A0012, PGP502A0016, PGP502A0021, PGP502A0025, PGP502A0033, PGP502A0036, PGP502A0043, etc., different models correspond to different displacement and performance parameters.
    Pump type: heavy-duty, aluminum alloy shell, external gear pump.
    Installation method: SAE rectangular flange, bolt through hole, special requirements can be ordered.
    Oil port: SEA and metric open flanges, or other oil port forms.
    Shaft extension type: SAE spline, flat key, tapered shaft; or cylindrical shaft with flat tail wedge, special requirements can be ordered.
  2. Performance parameters
    Working pressure:
    The continuous working pressure is as high as 275bar, which can meet the needs of high-pressure working conditions.
    The working range of inlet pressure is 0.8-2bar (absolute pressure), and the minimum inlet pressure is 0.5bar (absolute pressure, no load for a short time).
    Flow range:
    The displacement range is 0.8-52cm3/rev (different models have different displacement, such as PGP502A0008 may have a smaller displacement, while PGP502A0043 may have a larger displacement).
    The flow rate is stable and the fluctuation is small to ensure the stable operation of the hydraulic system.
    Speed range:
    The speed range is 500-4000rpm, and the specific speed may vary depending on the model.
    It is recommended to use a flexible coupling for direct drive.
    Oil parameters:
    Hydraulic fluid: H-LP DIN 51525 hydraulic fluid.
    Oil temperature: The operating temperature range is -15℃ to +80℃, and the maximum allowable working pressure depends on the oil temperature.
    Oil viscosity: The working viscosity range is 8-1000mm2/s, and the maximum allowable working pressure depends on the viscosity.Under certain conditions (such as working pressure P≤10bar and speed n≤1500rpm), the cold start viscosity range is 1000-2000mm2/s.
    Ambient temperature: Adapt to the ambient temperature range of -40℃ to +70℃.
    Filtration requirements: It should comply with ISO 4406 Level 16/13 standard.
  3. Structural characteristics and configuration options
    Compact structure: it adopts a compact design and layout, and is compact in size, which is easy to install in various equipment with limited space.
    Multi-pump configuration: dual and triple configurations can be provided to increase the flexibility of use.The shaft load must be confirmed according to the provisions of the rated shaft load table in the sample. When the maximum load is installed for all pumps at the same time, the sum of the torque values of each pump will be determined.
    Inlet configuration: Two options are provided: separate inlet configuration and shared inlet configuration.In a separate inlet configuration, each gear housing has its own inlet and outlet; in a shared inlet configuration, the two gear pumps share a common inlet, which is located on the front gear housing.
