1. Model Specifications and Composition
The ARL1 series includes four main models, covering a small displacement range of 6.2 cm³/rev to 16.3 cm³/rev. The model composition is standardized, and each part has a clear meaning, which is convenient for model selection and identification.
1.1 Model Composition Explanation
Taking “ARL1-6-FR01S-10” as an example, the specific meaning of each segment is as follows:

ARL1: Series number, indicating the ARL1 series variable displacement piston pump.

2.1 Additional Key Parameters

Hydraulic Oil Requirement: Clean petroleum-based hydraulic oil equivalent to ISO VG32 or 46, with a viscosity range of 20~400 mm²/s and an operating temperature range of 0~60℃.

Suction Pressure: The allowable suction pressure at the pump inlet is -16.7~+50 kPa; the height of the suction port shall not exceed 1 meter from the oil level in the tank.

Noise Level: Under the conditions of 7 MPa pressure, 1500 r/min speed and 1 meter measurement distance, the noise level at full cut-off is 55 dB(A) (representative value of ARL1-16).

Pressure Adjustment: The pressure is set to the minimum when leaving the factory; turning the pressure adjustment screw clockwise increases the pressure, with an adjustment amount of 1.5 MPa per full rotation of the screw.

Drainage Requirements: The steady-state pressure in the housing shall not exceed 0.1 MPa, and the shock pressure shall not exceed 0.5 MPa; the length of the drainage pipeline shall not exceed 1 meter, and it shall be independently connected without merging with other return lines.

4. Usage Precautions

Oil Pollution Control: The pollution of hydraulic oil will cause pump failure and shorten its service life. The oil pollution degree should be kept within NAS 10 level; a filter with at least 100 μm (150 mesh) should be installed on the suction side, and a filter with no more than 10 μm should be installed on the return line.

Installation Posture: When installing the pump, the oil filling port must face upward to ensure normal oil filling and exhaust.

Shaft Alignment: A flexible coupling should be used as much as possible for shaft connection to avoid bending load and thrust load on the shaft; the total indicator reading (TIR) of the coaxiality deviation shall not exceed 0.1 mm, and the angle deviation shall not exceed 0.2°.

Piping Requirements: When using steel pipes for piping, avoid excessive load on the pump from the pipeline; if there is a risk of excessive load, use rubber hoses. The suction pipeline and suction filter should not be higher than the pump port to prevent air accumulation.

Air Bleeding: Air mixed in the pump and pipeline will cause vibration; it is recommended to install an air bleed valve on the discharge side to ensure complete air bleeding before operation.

Start-up Notes: Before initial operation, inject 285 cm³ of clean hydraulic oil into the pump through the oil filling port; during start-up, adjust the hydraulic circuit to make the pump discharge oil flow back directly to the tank, avoiding no-load operation of the actuator.

Displacement Adjustment: This pump is not equipped with a displacement adjustment function; a flow control valve should be installed if displacement adjustment is needed according to the use requirements.
