1. Model Code Interpretation

The model codes of Sumitomo Gear Pump QT52-50, QT52-63, QT62-80 and QT63-125 belong to three different series (QT52, QT62 and QT63), with different series specifications and nominal displacements. The model code interpretation and relevant parameters are detailed below:
  • QT52: Series identifier, indicating a medium-pressure and medium-flow external gear fixed displacement pump of the QT52 series produced by Sumitomo, designed for general industrial hydraulic system requirements, with a compact structure, stable operation and strong adaptability, suitable for medium-duty industrial scenarios.

3. Performance Characteristics

  • All four models feature high efficiency (efficiency range 75% – 90%), stable output flow and strong overload capacity, suitable for long-term continuous operation; the installation and connection dimensions comply with ISO international standards, facilitating replacement with domestic and foreign similar gear pump products and strong interchangeability;

4. Application Scope

QT52-50 and QT52-63 are widely used in hydraulic systems of small-to-medium sized machine tools, plastic machinery, agricultural machinery and other equipment that require medium displacement and medium pressure; QT62-80 is suitable for hydraulic systems of medium-sized engineering machinery, heavy-duty plastic machinery and other equipment that require medium-large displacement and medium-high pressure; QT63-125 is applicable to hydraulic systems of large-scale engineering machinery, heavy-duty forging machinery and other equipment that require large displacement and high pressure. The four models can be flexibly matched according to different flow and pressure demands, providing reliable and stable hydraulic power source for various industrial scenarios.

5. Notes

  • The pump should be used within the specified temperature and viscosity range, and the hydraulic oil should be regularly filtered to avoid performance degradation or component wear caused by excessive temperature, inappropriate oil viscosity or oil pollution; pay attention to the difference in maximum operating pressure among QT52, QT62 and QT63 series to avoid overload operation.
  • When installing, use the specified number, strength class and tightening torque of bolts according to the model (QT52, QT62 and QT63 series have different bolt specifications) to prevent bolt damage, pump loosening and hydraulic oil leakage; check the coupling connection before startup to ensure correct installation.

Process steps:
