4. General Notes

All VICKERS piston pumps have high requirements on oil cleanliness. It is recommended to use hydraulic oil that meets NAS 7 level or above, configure a high-precision filter, and regularly detect and replace the hydraulic oil to avoid wear of precision components.

When the pump is operated for the first time, it should be started with no load for at least 10 minutes, and then the pressure should be gradually increased to ensure the stable operation of the pump body and seals.

The peak pressure of the pump can only be used for short-term impact (no more than 5 minutes), and long-term operation at peak pressure is not allowed to avoid damage to the pump body.

The working temperature of the hydraulic oil should be controlled within the range of -20°C to 80°C. Excessive or insufficient temperature will affect the service life and performance of the pump.

Vulnerable parts such as valve plates and bearings should be inspected and replaced regularly according to the working conditions to extend the service life of the pump.
