1. Product Overview
The PV2R series is YUKEN Japan’s classic low-noise fixed displacement vane pump, consisting of single pumps (PV2R1 / PV2R2 / PV2R3 / PV2R4) and double pumps (PV2R12, PV2R13, PV2R14, PV2R23, PV2R24, PV2R34).
It adopts a special low-noise stator profile, featuring low pressure pulsation and stable operation. With a modular cartridge design, only the pump cartridge needs replacement for maintenance, lowering service costs. Widely applied in construction machinery pilot auxiliary pumps, injection molding machines, die-casting machines, forging machine tools and various hydraulic power units.
Unified technical specifications: Rated pressure 17.5 MPa, maximum peak pressure 21 MPa; Recommended speed 600~1800 rpm. Recommended fluid: ISO VG46 anti-wear hydraulic oil, fluid cleanliness NAS 8 or better.

4. Key Selection Guidelines (critical for customer selection)
- Pressure: Continuous operation ≤17.5 MPa; Short-time peak pressure max 21 MPa. Long-term full load at 21 MPa is not recommended, which will shorten cartridge service life.
- Speed: Min 750 rpm, Max 1800 rpm. For large displacement PV2R3 / PV2R4, avoid continuous high speed at 1800 rpm.
- Suction Requirements: Larger displacement requires higher standard for suction pipeline. PV2R3 & PV2R4 must adopt enlarged suction pipe, reduce elbows to prevent cavitation and abnormal noise.
- Hydraulic Oil: ISO VG46 anti-wear hydraulic oil with cleanliness NAS8 or higher. Impurities will rapidly wear vanes and stator.
- Rotation Confirmation: Standard rotation R (clockwise). If motor rotation is reversed, L counter-clockwise model must be selected. Never force reverse rotation of standard pumps.
- Replacement & Procurement: Original YUKEN and domestic replacement versions available on market. When replacing, verify flange dimension, shaft diameter, port position, displacement and rotation.
- Cartridge Spare Parts: Cartridge can be replaced separately for the whole series, no need to replace entire pump to reduce maintenance cost.
