I. Product Overview

The YUKEN PV2R series is a high-pressure, high-performance fixed displacement single vane pump specially developed by Yuken Kogyo Co., Ltd. of Japan for low-noise operation. This series covers an extremely wide flow range of 5.8~237 cm³/rev and adopts an internal chuck assembly structure, facilitating the maintenance and replacement of core components. It is widely used in industrial equipment such as injection molding machines, hydraulic presses, and bending machines.

IV. Structural Features

  1. Low-noise Design: Adopts high-order equation stator curve to optimize vane movement trajectory, significantly reducing operating noise. The noise level is 45~70 dB (A) under test conditions.
  2. Chuck Assembly Structure: Core components (rotor, vane, stator, valve plate) are integrated into an integrally replaceable chuck assembly, enabling convenient maintenance and reducing downtime.
  3. High-pressure Performance: The maximum working pressure reaches 21 MPa (PV2R1-3), meeting the needs of most industrial hydraulic systems.
  4. Wide Flow Range: From 5.8 cm³/rev to 237 cm³/rev, covering small, medium, large and extra-large displacement requirements.

VI. Installation and Maintenance Points

1. Installation Dimensions

  • The interface dimensions and mounting hole positions of the flange mounting type (Type F) and foot mounting type (Type L) are different, see the official manual for details.
  • Inlet and Outlet Specifications:
  • PV2R1: Suction port φ25, outlet port φ15
  • PV2R4: Suction port φ76, outlet port φ36

2. Installation Notes

  1. Ensure the coaxiality error between the pump shaft and the drive shaft is ≤0.1 mm, and the angle error is ≤0.5°.
  2. The suction pipeline should be short and thick, avoiding excessive elbows to reduce suction resistance.
  3. The suction port pressure should meet the minimum suction pressure requirement to avoid cavitation.
  4. The installation position should be convenient for maintenance and oil inspection.

3. Maintenance Points

  1. Regular Oil Change: It is recommended to change the oil every 2000~4000 hours, using hydraulic oil of the recommended viscosity grade.
  2. Filter Maintenance: Regularly inspect and clean the suction filter and return filter to keep the oil clean.
  3. Seal Inspection: Inspect the shaft seal and O-ring, and replace them in time if there is leakage.
  4. Chuck Assembly Replacement: When the pump has pressure drop, increased noise, or increased leakage, the chuck assembly can be replaced as a whole to restore the pump performance.
  5. Bearing Inspection: If abnormal vibration or noise occurs during operation, check the bearing wear and replace it in time.
